Gergely started his career as a research fellow at Bay Applied Research Institute then soon became head of research and development of virtual reality training platform for nuclear power plants. Under Gergely’s leadership in the span of five years, the Mixed Reality and Machine Vision departments sealed a lot of successful projects in the field of Neural Networks and Mixed Reality, like the first immersive training for industrial maintenance, physics-based virtual interaction methods, indoor localization, contextual convolutional neural networks in the interpretation of art, or virtual environment for self-driving vehicles. He developed extended navigation systems for aviation and optical inspection for the industry as a computer vision architect and worked on the software and optical simulation of thermal imaging goggles.
